OK, well... first, if you don't have them already, order a bunch of 1x8 grey bricks on Bricklink or eBay. A LOT if you want it to look cool- don't worry, they're not too expensive. Then start by building a basic wall, with maybe a 5-sided shape (not a pentagon, a squared shape), being sure to leave space for a door. After that, mount a bunch of small cannons all around the wall and build a tower on the back or in the center of the base. Add more cannons to the side of this, and have one large cannon on the top. Then add desired details inside (weapons racks, vehicle storage, etc.) and you're done! Notes: -When building the wall, be sure that the bricks are alternating, not all lined up, so that they become sturdier. In other words, use a different layout of the bricks on every layer of the wall. -Try not to add too many colors- if you do add more than one or two, blend it well with the rest of the model, don't have splotches of colors here and there. -Functions of any sort are always cool, even if useless. |
